Corel Painter Essentials 4 a temporary substitute good?

When I bought my Wacom Intuos 3 which comes with full versions of different some programs. A program for Corel Painter Essentials 4. I just try and found out that it's not as elegant as the new Corel Painter 11 (intend to buy), which is about $ 400. However, since I'm recovering from the threshold to buy my tablet thinks not to buy the best version at least for a while, so my question is: Does Corel Painter Essentials temporary replacement good for digital art? I do not want to edit photos. I've been using Photoshop for years, but Corel Painter discovered it recently and found several reviews saying that Corel is ideal for digital art Photoshop (which is why I am anxious to start using Corel Painter).

Although I am a strong advanced Photoshop user, I know many good digital artists who swear by the painter. I can see the "paint" as a painter, but General may be transformed into works that mimic the majority of traditional media in my Photoshop. Among them, and Illustrator, and more media traditional, I never ceased to give my clients the images they need. As for the "ideal" description I must stress that this depends on user preferences. Also, I'm sure a talented person, using digital media can learn and get used anything. Sometimes, just for fun, has produced an interesting piece in the window's paint program that comes free with the hardware installed. Is very limited in function, but also a pen and paper and do a good job with these tools. If you plan to actually improve over time a full version of a painter so I think it will be very happy with the time spent in Painter Essentials. It will give much needed practice with tools, brushes and effects that translate very well when you finally get the full version. We can therefore all concerns continue where you left it and not have to start the learning curve from zero.
