Can I sue my mother for throwing my business?

I bought a Wacom Graphire 4×5 tablet art with my own money budgeted $ 110 (taxes included) I spent the summer of my first year (hhigh school working on it. My question is, is it legal for my mother to pick up and dispose of an item I bought with my own money and tried to work? Is it not legally my property? Can I sue for either $ 110 or even of the Tablet? I am not trying to look like a spoiled child, who has thrown my PlayStation 2 as well, but she bought it. I do not like that. It's just that tablet was mine and do not simply not throw shit way out of this. Can I get legal advice on this? Yes, I am a minor. I'm almost 16. My mom is emotional abuse and sometimes physical violence. I have scratches and bruises on various parts of my body.
