Tablet Input Panel PC / laptop Sony VAIO with Vista?

I just bought this laptop a few months ago and the entry the taskbar is an option Tablet PC configuration. A small screen appears and I can write on it with your finger on the touchpad, which recognize Trys I'm writing and also shows his conjecture. My question is – if I did not buy a Tablet PC, why is that? IM only in the course and tried, but my screen is not touch sensitive. Can I buy a pen or pad and use the control panel? What is this feature on my model with not a tablet? If I may, what I do with it? Is there a difference between a pencil and a pen? Thank you a bunch!-Calli <3

Vista includes this feature by default tablet. But do not have to use if you do not capture Tablet PC, for example, a screen tablet or surface. You can buy a Tablet input device in a hardware store. A pencil is literally a stick of plastic that can be used to plunge into the surface of touch screen instead of using your finger. A stylus is used in a surface of the tablet, which can be used with your finger.
