A laptop and touch screen, a monitor or a carpet of digital art?

I do a lot of drawing, and in the last year began to draw on the programs on my computer with a 9 "x12" USB tablet. I love my tablet, but leaves a lot of work suppose, because I do not see what I draw on the tablet screen, and I ended up having to get something 4-5 times in the match. I am aware that Some laptops (HP Touchsmart Series) TouchPad (3M MicroTouch screen and others), and monitors (low Dell, $ 1,300 tablet screen Adesso Touch LCD) all able to be able to show what I work while I work on the same screen rather than the tablet. I wonder what some other digital / graphic designers use to make their computer work and what some of you recommend that you get.

Device so that designers and illustrators use. This is called Cintiq. While there are several options that you have told a touch screen LCD, the Cintiq is the device of choice among most of us. Comes in a 12 or 21-inch active screen and operates the same as a tablet traditional pressure-sensitive. The differences, of course, is that you can see what you do. Find out here.
