Question laptops: HP Tablet or MacBook?

Okay so Im going to college and I'm torn between two laptops. Apple MacBook (that eventually by being about 1400 or more with the care package apple) and HP – Pavilion Tablet PC with AMD Turion ™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-70, which is probably around 1100 with the guarantee. What would normally, but with the HP Tablet Im going into journalism, so I thought Apple Mac were required to study this area? someone throw some light on this or advice? I hope im not much sense in computer jargon —- any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Mac MacBook are the best teams in the market, so they are much easier to use software and hardware are integrated together so you will not regret to get a Mac and most schools use Mac computers, at least, is alive and non-Windows Please get the Mac let me know what you get (email)
