Windows XP Tablet Edition – Forgot Password – Wont’ log in – HELP!!!
I have windows XP Tablet pc edition. I have forgotton my password and can’t log back into windows. What usually happens is that when I turn my laptop on it first asks you to press (ctrl alt del) then a new windows pops up and asks you for your username and password. So i don’t know my passcode and can’t log in. This laptop doesn’t have a place for a cd, and also i tried to restart the computer and press f8 and get into safe mode but even when i do that, it still asks for username and passcode. I need help! What do i do????
First thing is to try logging in as Administrator, with no password. Some pre-configured PCs come with the Admin password not set. If so, just go into control panel and change your user password.

Next time, make sure you create a password reset disk. If your PC has the Admin password blank, make sure you set it to something you’ll remember. When you change your own password, make sure you include a hint.
