Which is better for taking notes in class … using a Tablet PC or Livescribe Smartpen?

I decided to make a career change and return to school and just buy a new laptop to help take notes, organization, etc. Now, I heard the Tablet PC that can be entered directly on the screen. Then I found I could by a kind of tablet / notebook and pen to use with my regular laptop that has both worked with the OneNote software on my laptop, or may buy the Livescribe Smartpen records and also U the use of software for the organization. What is the best way forward and more comfortable. I just bought the laptop and Smartpen I am confused whether I should take a different decision, then hurry up and decide to receive my refund expires.

I would do whatever is easier and faster to get the information you wrote in class for my laptop. everything is more affordable. If the pen is easy to use intelligent and does the job to stay with it, but if you want something more attractive to choose something different. Hope this helps.
