Question on a Tablet PC …..?
My friend is a sort of 'baby-sitting a Tablet PC (HP Compaq TC1100 Tablet PC) to be exact. The keyboard and mouse, both work, but when you use the pen Trys not. He says that when you touch the computer screen that does nothing. I think the pen is powered by batteries? But we can not understand how to change, or even if we must. Please help? :]
The TC1100 pen did not need batteries as is a Wacom pen technology. But this unit predecessor, TC1000 batteries are used because it was FinePoint pen. Both pens are not compatible or interchangeable. Maybe you have a pen wrong. They watch. See if you can unscrew the pen by twisting the rubber the end. If you have a battery that is the wrong pen. If not, go to Control Panel and select Settings tablet and pen and try to recalibrate the pen and perform a series of tests available on the screens. The TC1100 is strictly an electromagnetic digitizer screen and does not "touch" the ability to touch the screen with a finger does not work.
