How to survive long flights?
I travel to New York to London on Friday (should take 5-6 hours) and have not been on a long flight was 5.4, so I have no idea how to last a long flight. I read online that you should drink alcohol or take sleeping pills, but I have 14 tablets and has no effect, while both are out of question. I can not sleep outside my room and because the return flight is at night, I need some advice on how to sleep on the plane. i have the basics, the iPod touch, magazines, book sketches and headphones for movies that show (the plane on television on the back of each seat) I can not take my laptop (which is 17 inches – too big) and my Nintendo DS I was bored after 10 minutes (makes no sense to take that) so all the advice the flight and how to sleep? NOT ALCOHOL or tablets! cheers:) thanks all those who gave all very good tips, I will vote, because although I can not choose:)
Bring plenty of reading material. Magazines, books, etc. Also, make sure you have music that is soothing. Make a playlist for your relaxation. Avoid up-beat music and heavier stuff. If the aircraft has a screen for each seat should be able to order movies to watch free … you can choose. If you have trouble sleeping, he looks a fair bit of that. but should be good. 6 hours is not long. You sleep time.
