What hardware do I expect?
Okay I need a computer for school, and I size for my decisions, and they now have to choose between a Fujitsu Tablet PC or a Mac Book. Our school relies on Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher, I've heard I can get free Open Office for Mac, so it is not the problem. Also, I have also heard that I have Vista on my Mac So there is no problem either. The laptop computer is most often the school work is like, typing documents, make plans and orders, etc. Oh, and take lots of pictures and I want a team that really pins down my things quickly. High Speed … and all that. Our school allows us to bring our laptops in class, yes, so I want something light enough, and you know, quickly, for taking notes may be there, and if I wait until, say, 1 minute to load Word, I would have missed since. Si So I would like to hear suggestions about what must do – Fujitsu T4220 or a Mac book. Thank you!
Hello It seems that almost resolved on the Mac, I'm biased (like millions of people). Looks you'll enjoy "Apple sleep" feature. You simply close the lid of the computer to pause. You do not need to close all applications or stop what you do. Open the lid and continue to do its job – no waiting for loading programs or hardware to implement. Everything is exactly as you left and is available immediately. In most cases no longer have to turn your computer off Mobile, just pause. Since you want to run Vista at least 2GB of RAM. OpenOffice may not be the best choice for you. She shakes and module sources presentations (Impress), is not very impressive. Since you qualify for the Student / Teacher Edition of Microsoft Office I suggest you get it. There is a $ 25 discount if you buy before September 3. Also be sure to go to the Apple Store for Education to get the student discount, a free printer and iPod.
