Can you help me get Remote Desktop to work?

I am trying to Remote Desktop to work between my PC XP Media Desktop (at Center edition of Windows) and my Tablet PC (Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005). For some reason I can get my pc to connect to the shelf … which for me is a kind of useless. I would like to connect my tablet to my office. He told me simply that "this computer can not connect to the remote computer." I double checked the computer name, user name, (who is a director) and who has a password. Easy. I can help you with that. The PC connects A is the host. A host must initiate inbound connections to the customer (the pill) to access the host using remote desktop. 1. Turn off Windows Firewall or creating exceptions.
