Are all platform Vista Tablet PC components work under XP or Ubuntu?
I'm using an HP Touchsmart TX2-1020us Tablet PCs running on Vista 64, who arrived with. I was wondering if I switched to XP or Ubuntu if any outside programs handwriting recognition and all other components of the Tablet PC would be working on one. Basically, I do not support Vista, but I want to keep all Tablet functionality.Thanks.
No, not work under XP or Ubuntu. Linux, I have heard, has applications Tablet * * support floating around, but nowhere near as extensive as that found in XP or Vista. MS made many changes in the Tablet PC applications on Vista. TabletPC components are integrated into the Vista operating system and are undoubtedly superior to the XP versions. In XP, you need WinXP Pro and the components of the TPC "Shell" applications running on top of XP operating outside the system. In a TPC Vista is probably the operating system to run. Vista is actually pretty good. The problem is that developers third party software that have not cleaned your code to run efficiently or properly under Vista. And many equipment manufacturers Part 3 is absolutely horrible device drivers that cause all sorts of problems. I guess that's what you get when you pay someone Bangalore $ 1 to write drivers … And you declare the 64-bit too. Too many software developers have ignored the 64-bit system and applications stuck writing only for 32-bit operating system. To be his biggest problem … If you want to revert to XP Tablet Edition, you need to know that you OEM XP only. You can not buy XP Tablet PC version anywhere except manufacturers. If you are a true geek can load XP Pro and find all applications necessary to create a penal code, but it is a very difficult question. It is much easier to contact HP. My suggestion would actually wait for Windows 7 to reach and update. Being supported full screen multi-touch in which TX2 XP.
