What is good for the application of the scale of bamboo?

I bought the Bamboo tablet (MTE450) and I was wondering what some good programs that I use with it and is there anyway I can write and draw notes in PDF files?

Photoshop programs of this kind. Why Why buy a tablet, but if you cont the kinds of programs or do such work?
