Can I write on my tablet used for school webcomic and my taxes?
I'll probably buy a Wacom tablet on eBay with twofold semi-profitable webcomic and school. Could he write about the price of the pill? And on that note, students are able to deduct the cost of your books? Are there good places to learn more about taxes?
U.S. response. 1. The school is a personal computer. No cancellation for personal reasons. Books fall from the same category, no less. 2. The "semi-profitable" webcomic * may * be able to take a deduction for depreciation, but only if kept a record of the amount of time you use the computer for each goal and only if you make money. (Not for profit activities can not loss.) 3. For more information on taxes, start by IRS Publication 17.
