I know that the tablet is a touch screen but is there more features to it than just it being a touch screen and how is it different from a netbook,
is it worth all the hype that is going around?

Both tablets and netbooks are similar in that they provide a very small, portable computer, but with limits. The major differences:
Netbook
* Has keyboard (but somtimes smaller than normal)
* No touchscreen
* Runs Windows (usually though there are Mac and Linux netbooks).
* No CD or DVD drive (usually)
* USB ports
* Uses WiFi to communicate to other computers or Internet
* Functions much like a limited laptop.
Tablet
* Has not physical keyboard (but does have an on-screen touch keyboard).
* Touchscreen.
* Run iOS (i.e. iPad) or Android (…although some run Windows)
* No CD or DVD
* USB is usually a micro-USB for power and connecting to a computer.
* Uses WiFi or USB port to communicate to other computers or Internet.
* Use is better for browsing web, reading email or a book,
or running touch-oriented programs called Apps.
