Ideal distirubtion Linux for me …?
Hey, I found the download of Ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop during a moment, but I am a Linux newbie and I'm not sure, given my type of computer, it would be a good idea. Here is my information computing in general: System: Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition Version 2005 2002 Service Pack 2 Maufactured and supported by: Toshiba Portege Intel (R) CPU T2500@2.00GHz 2.00 GHz, 0.99 GB of RAM: New, 2.5 years back … In your opinion, is it OK for me to download Ubuntu? It could be better download Xubuntu or some other distribution? It also considers openSUSE, but I was told that Ubuntu is better for beginners. Advice or suggestions? Thank you!
Great run Ubuntu on your laptop. You may be surprised how many in the "drivers" required. I love the look and feel is very fluid and easy to use. In my opinion, is the operating system is best.
