Toshiba M400 laptop internet connection problems?

Well, I just got a Toshiba M400 Tablet PC and it's great, but I can not not connect to the Internet! When looking for laptop for wireless networks is the network, I type in the password to access the network and I'm connected to the network. But despite that says I'm connected to the network can not access the Internet. My laptop connects to the network and can use the network. What I noticed was different was when I watched the state of connection laptop wireless to access the network was running at the sending and receiving packets in the thousands, while the network is that one without sending and recieveing some 100-300 packages. I do not know what happens? Could be from your laptop to school Whenever you turn on and off automatically synchronized network of school to work backup fine. But when I'm home can not be synchronized to my home network, it is not the same as school. Is this a problem. If yes how can I solve this problem.

OK, you have configured your network as a preferred network. Is it set to "Connect automatically" Click on Start, then Run, type cmd. in the black window type ipconfig / all .. Are you receiving an IP address .. (except 169.xxx ..) tried ping www.google.com .. Do you get .. respond if you are getting an IP address (usually 192.168.xx), then try disabling the wireless router for 1 minute, then turn it on in the hope help .. .. ~ Josh
