The pen tablets for Linux?

Hello everyone, I need a tablet to draw Manga / Cartoons / Anime on the computer. The system I'm using Linux OS and the program must be developed in the GIMP. I looked Trust 1200-V2 tablet pen and tablet Wacom pen. Wacom are too expensive and professional for me, so it's not. The Trust has mixed reviews and I am not sure if I should buy. Can anyone suggest a tablet pen good as probable / defenetly work under Linux, Gimp. Looking for something in the middle tier (non-professional or amateur, but not good) and not too expensive – € 100 max. The preferred size is approximately A4. The bigger the better. Thank you very much! I really appreciate it.

I'm not sure what Linux distribution you use, but I use Kubuntu 8.04 and a Wacom Bamboo. I got it for under $ 60. I went with the stylus in place of the Foundation. Kubuntu 8.04 comes with built-in Wacom driver operating system. If you use more than 8 .04/kubuntu 8.04/edubuntu 8.04/xubuntu Ubuntu 8.04 and then try to install the driver below. It a hard time getting the Wacom driver to work with Kubuntu 7.10. Wacom open source Linux driver http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/ not quote me on that, but I think Wacom Tablet PC is the only one that uses a battery-free pen. By the way I use the stylus and Macromedia Flash on my Linux desktop. The inclination and the option sensitivity to the pressure of the great works! Note: If you think Wacom is too expensive, perhaps a family can buy a Wacom for her birthday or Christmas. How about using a gift card for Wacom (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc..) In addition, Amazon.com has a rebate of 30 $ For Visa. You can get $ 30 off your first credit card purchase.) I bought my http://www.wacom.com/s/ref=nb_ss_?url=search-alias www.amazon.com Wacom 3DAP% & field-keywords = If you still want to trust Wacom sure to buy at a location that you resume if it does not work with Linux. This way, you will not waste your money.
