What Linux distro would be better for my ThinkPad?

I have a ThinkPad X61 Tablet * *. I do not support Vista Home Premium that came installed above, and try to learn what Linux distro is best for a Tablet PC. Specifically, it was not enough long to hide the problems of compatibility to be discovered. it would be preferable that the response came from personal experience, but if I missed a web site let me know. Looking for handwriting recognition, so the addition of wireless compatibility, bells and whistles normal and nice GUI. thank you! How can I best adapt http://www.emperorlinux.com/quality/value/distros/ my computer? What distro Fedora is really the best? Have they fact that changes to the regular distribution (I suspect they are free, but you do not know what they are)

If the TP a bootable CD, try PCLinuxOS: http://www.pclinuxos.com/index.php?option=com_ionfiles&Itemid=28 are also a Google search with the following terms: Linux "handwriting recognition" You get more than 200k hits … Regards, RoboHelp Developer
