1. Overview
Before examining the laptops most suitable for university students, we must understand what makes a good student laptop. Normally, a student who wants a laptop that is lightweight and comfortable enough to tow to and from their different classes. In addition, the laptop must have long battery life and performance. And the price is sometimes a concern, and the above functions should be packed in one affordable package.
After reviewing the types of laptops suitable for students university, I decided to split into three categories: budget, ultra thin, lightweight and portable. So let's take a look now …
2. Budget Laptops
For a college student who is short of money, a budget laptop is a good buy. Some laptops cheapest include Dell, Toshiba and HP. Personally, I find the Toshiba Satellite A215-S4747 to be a great budget laptop. You get a processor Double heart based AMD CPU, which of PERFROMANCES most applications. You also get a 200GB hard drive and a huge number of ports Peripheral.
There is also a nice Sony VGN-NR160E / S model that is (surprisingly) in the budget category. Out of the box, this machine offers the Intel Core 2 Duo T5250, 1GB of RAM and 160 GB hard drive large – a large amount of computing power at budget prices.
3. Computers thin and light notebooks
If you prefer more powerful laptop and do not mind a little weight, and then try to go for a thin and light notebook. Some models may not think to include Lenovo, HP and Sony.
The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ280E is a very good choice for laptop thin and light. This system comes with a USB-compatible Blu-ray, which can also burn CDs and DVDs. You also get a processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz CPU, 2 GB of RAM and hard drive 250 GB
Another model to consider is the HP Pavilion dv6675us. You will receive an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM and 250 GB of hard drive space. The 4 GB of RAM is a great feature that will be very useful if you are a student of finance or science and the need to run compute-intensive applications.
4. Ultraportable Laptops
If the size and weight of the laptop is very important to you, then go for an ultraportable notebook. These laptops give very good performance calculation in a package small and very compact.
In this category, I think the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 is an excellent option for students. It is a bit expensive (but not outrageously SO), but it is one of the most powerful laptops around. It only weighs about 3 pounds and is an extremely mobile equipment. You also get an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz CPU, 2 GB of RAM and a huge 100GB hard drive. You do not get a DVD burner built however – the unit is external to the laptop.
Another good option is the Toshiba Portege R500-S5001X. It weighs 2.4 pounds and is less an inch thick. This is one of the laptops thinner and lighter are on the market. It is also very reasonable prices.
Conclusion
Good! I hope this article has shown you the different types of laptop computers that are appropriate for students. Regardless of your needs and your budget, make sure a proper investigation before the attack in any species. Until next time, good luck and happy shopping!
