What type of disk can be used to upgrade my Lenovo X200?
Will this work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148374&cm_re=laptop_hdd_7200-_-22-148-374-_-Product Also, I lost my OS install? Can I reinstall if I backup discs? Or will recognize that the same hard drive and never leaves me install? Moreover, this drive would you recommend?
Yes, the drive will work fine. And there's an easy way to update your file and have hard nothing changed. Just go to your local electronics store (or your new hard drive Newegg) and get a 2.5 "SATA box disk drive. A Once your new drive, put it in the box and connect it to your computer through the USB cable supplied with the unit. Download Acronis TrueImage (which costs money, but comes with 30 days free trial, should not give them your information or anything, just download and can be used for this purpose very well) and the clone / image from your existing hard disk drive on the new drive. This will create an exact copy your hard drive. Your operating system, programs, files, everything will be as if the old drive, but now you more space and a drive quicker, without installing anything! And then just put the new disk into your computer and you'll be fine. Have fun with your new album! (And if I were to recommend an album, I would say that the VelociRaptor 300GB, but it is $ 200 …)
