What type of disk can be used to upgrade my Lenovo X200?

Yes, the drive will work fine. And there's an easy way to update your file and have hard nothing changed. Just go to your local electronics store (or your new hard drive Newegg) and get a 2.5 "SATA box disk drive. A Once your new drive, put it in the box and connect it to your computer through the USB cable supplied with the unit. Download Acronis TrueImage (which costs money, but comes with 30 days free trial, should not give them your information or anything, just download and can be used for this purpose very well) and the clone / image from your existing hard disk drive on the new drive.
