I am in my 34th week and just discovered that I was an overdose prenatal vitamins (CVS recommend a prenatal vitamin tablet a day, but I was taking 2 tablets a day for 5 months). Some ingredients are: Vitamin A 4000 IU Vitamin E 30 IU Folic Acid: 800 mcg Iron: 28 mg … I am very worried … My overdose hurt my baby? The label full are here: Vitamin A 4000 IU Vitamin C 120 mg Vitamin D 400 IU Vitamin E 30 IU Folic Acid 800 mcg Iron: 28 mg Zinc: 25 mg I take double the amount precedent. Before the product used CVS a different product, which says take 2 a day, so I guess they were the same …
I do not think it should be at all worried. I have always taken vitamins regularly and no pre-natal. Folic acid is good to see my doctor had 1000 mcg taken and I felt so vitmain reg. The iron is what makes a difference, but I doubt it. Now, you must read the label .. You say take 2 cards and if so usually the label says the two 28mg tablets whole. Just check the size of portions and always call your doctor if you feel you've made a mistake. Apart from that all other components are safe quantities
