What type of laptop should I get?

I am for economy, but I am trying to choose between Mac and PC (I have never used Mac) Id like to have "a good camera internet web and a microphone, works with all progams (to work with Mac widgets?)-Media mp3 players (I have a Creative Zen, not an iPod), DVD player and maybe a laptop shelf, but idk … Thank you for the help:)
