I can not say enough good things about my best friend in the digital world: Photoshop. Suffice it to say that I love you! As a designer graphic, I use it in 99% of all my projects and now enjoy what I can do to make Photoshop tutorials for others.
You do not need to be a professional or even and "artist" to create works of art. Today not even need Learn to draw! I intend to create a series of tutorials to illustrate the different ways to use this program for creating beautiful pictures and illustrations from photographs only. 1. Open Photoshop. Then go to File -> Open, Select the image you want, then click Open.
2. In the Layers palette (right), right-click the bottom "layer" and select Duplicate. Do it twice.
3. Click on the duplicate layer first (this should be your middle layer), then go to Image -> Adjustments -> Desaturate. Then click the second double layer (upper layer) and do the same.
4. In the top layer, go to Image -> Adjustments -> Invert.
5. Also in the top layer, set the blending mode (found in the layers palette, it looks like this:) for "Color Dodge".
6. Also in the top layer came Filter -> Other -> and set the minimum radius of 1.
Now, duplicate the layer background (what color yet) again and drag it up the layers. Go to Filter -> Blur -> Gossip and set the number of radio on the table, anywhere between 1 and 5. Usually, the more detailed the picture is less it will establish the radio. Then set the layer blending mode "Multiply".
7. Select the Brush tool, select mild form or round fuzzy brush on top and adjust the size to fit any area that is working. Set the opacity to 20%.
Go to Layers -> New Layer and name of your final coat you want and press "OK".
Then select the color you want paint with paint and the region to improve or change colors.

How to make pictures like this in Photoshop?
Photoshop CS4 and I use it for other things. I have a tablet graphic too. I was wondering if anywhere you can find a tutorial for drawing pictures of this kind, where the style is realistic, but, you know, you have the cartoon color and appearance.
