What kind of convertible Tablet PC should I expect?

I have a budget of somewhere around a thousand dollars and I need to get a convertible Tablet PC. I need one who can read my writing, long battery life, lots of memory, and I need one that will last a very long time without decomposition. Gateway and do not want lighter the better, but it did not matter. I do not care not how big it is. Please reply. Thank you … the price is not so important for me, but less than $ 2,000
