Should I buy a desktop for college?
I'm going to college next year and I think if I should or has no computer desktop or simply use the laptop I have. I have a Fujitsu Tablet PC I've had for 3 years now. Autonomy cell is a kind of shot, but I found it quite reliable and good size. Is it a waste of money for me to buy a new computer Office and preferably the Sony VAIO JS series, or just get a new battery and save money. You can also get a MacBook for college, but a computer from Sony is actually cheaper and includes more features.
For the university, you only need a laptop relatively cheap and Acer, Gateway and eMachines. Get the extended warranty on it and cost a lot more effective than a MacBook or Vaio. It will be the same for the work that I save money without sacrificing utility. Be sure to nuke the drive and put XP Pro on it. Vista is horrible!
