Is there a free software for creating music from a Windows XP laptop touchpad?

The equipment Wmid Tablet but I want to make music playing in my laptop touchpad. The ability to do that was mentioned in an article on PLOrk (Princteon Laptop Orchestra). Please let me if there is a freeware to do this on Windows laptops.
