The student needs new laptop. How Tablet PC? Partners (and others) PLS SUGGESTIONS?

I'm going to college soon and I need a laptop so you can get used to it before actually entering the university. What brand / model that works best student here? I'm torn between HP, Dell, Toshiba. It is useless if the door? I am very curious about the Tablet PC. Any person who owns, are good? Does the rotating break easily, and if it breaks, it is the screen blank out? I like the idea of being able to write or write at the same time, because the faster the write really, but I still take notes on science and biology classes. In place the tablet, there is something that I can to use that you can draw with a pencil directly connected to the laptop? There will text only. Must be able to resist relative "right" to heavy use … mostly with Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint, Word. The usual, but I often use. I will not play on it at all, however, but perhaps a few movies here and there. Thank you for the help!

Of course! The tablet PC Freakin 'sweet! The rotation is pretty durable, has all the functionality of a laptop … and more. :-p-Brand Wise … hmm. HPs are very reliable … but tend to be stupid sometimes. Dells are "ehh" computers in the computer world … but cheaper. It sorta sorta not on you from time to time … but not the best out there. : – / From Toshiba … whatever. Lol. Toshiba Suck … each. If Windows … Yes. Toshiba Suck. Lol. Gateway PC are like the Dells. : – / If I had to get a good college-student price of a Tablet PC, I suggest you go with either a Sony or HP. No teams are which are bad … is the operating system (Windows). I'll be honest … Windows sucks. It is very rare for a team to survive more than 3 years without a catastrophic crisis of some kind. Ugh … I can not explain. In addition, it remains a Windows-based world in which we live, we have no choice but using Windows. :-( And, well … that Windows will launch its new operating system this month of July-August-ish. It's called "Windows Vista "and is apparently much better than XP (which is still :-/). Kinda sucks … If you want … you can wait until it is released (Windows Vista) … and you can buy the operating system … everyone or wait til 'more is purchased, then you can buy the XPS computer Windows that stores want to get rid of (to accommodate the new operating system). :-) Hehe … I intend to do (unless Windows Vista is freakin 'amazing, by all rights). :-)
