Trying to use restore discs Compaq TC1000 Tablet, but does not recognize the CD-ROM. Ideas?
Have you tried more a USB port to make sure it was not just that it was bad? If yes, you can share a CD-ROM in another computer and data access this way. This would be an option if you have another computer in your home or office. If no other teams, I wonder if you could go to another computer, copy everything on the CD and send it by e-mail itself and then access to a computer with the problem. It might be something to try.
