Freshman year of high school with hopes of joining the Columbia University?
I attend a private school girls school. I'll take Spanish for four years of my career in high school. As in the first year I am also physics, World Cultures, English, English Honors (two separate courses in English), and Geometry. I am currently a student, but I'm working diligently improve to an A + student. All our work is done in the form of tablets (laptops can write about), so it makes me more desirable. Each year is needed to get five credits for community service. Extracurricular wise, I'll do the fencing and tennis for four years. I am also in a Chinese club. One thing that I can improve? Comments? I know that Colombia is very competitive, so I'm a good start. Thank you.

Her passion is dance, and beyond grades and high test scores, is the dance that has its admission. About 85% of applicants to the Ivies are qualified to participate, but only 7 to 10% are admitted. So it must be noted. Talk to your advisor to know what you need done. Maybe college counseling starts 10th in his school, as well as private school for my son. If it the case, first define your passion and how can work for him. Are you a tennis player? A shooter? If you are very good, see what the situation for tennis and fencing at Columbia. It's great and my DH said it would be a good hook, something to help out. Furthermore, get a higher score on the PSAT to ensure they are perceived by the schools you choose to be notified. Do not take the PSAT official through grade 11, but you can start studying now in an easy way to Nice, a few at a time, so be prepared. If the score in the top 5% (I think) is recognized by National Merit, if your score in the top 1% (in my opinion, is not exactly true), is a finalist National Merit. If the school has a high percentage of National Merit recognized the seniors, you want to be sure to mark and be well in this group. (School my child has an unusual number, about 50% are accepted, half of the finalists, so help you lot too!) Well!
