Why is everyone calling the new Apple iPad a "shelf" when you can not write to it?
If IPAD is a tablet How can be an alternative to many models of Tablet PCs have been around since at least 2002? I used a Tablet PC since early 2003 and I thought provided the only essential difference between a regular laptop and a Tablet PC is the fact that I can write on the Tablet PC using the software Windows Journal.
They call it a tablet form factor (without cover), not because of functions. It's more like an Amazon Kindle / eReader Sony mixed with an iPod from a PC Laptop.
