Please help! I need help deciding which laptop to buy ….? school

My school has recently announced that next year laptops be allowed in class. The school was paired with Lenovo to bring laptops low price with a guarantee of 4 years (with a school where we get our [Lenovo] laptop fixed), but I'm not sure if Lenovo (specifically, the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet) is the best option for me. I Looking for a laptop equipped with a large hard drive and a screen under 13 "if possible. I studied Lenovp ThinkPad X61 Tablet, Apple MacBook, Sony VAIO, the Dell Inspiron 1720 and others. What would you recommend? (Please include experience with personal computers, as well as opinions.) Thank you!

I was Seaching a laptop for a while. Lenovo and MacBook earn great respect peoplel for hard core computer. Sonys and Dells also be respected, but the Mac and ThinkPad are (in my experience) for the most kudos.
