I need to install XP Tablet Edition for my tablet to work?

I need to install XP Tablet Edition to my shelf Tablet to work as a laptop I have an Acer C300 I installed Windows XP Pro on it and the touch pad whose screen work, help.thanks thank you all!

You have to install a compressed version of the operating system because it has the correct drivers for the touchscreen to work. I think that Vista and Windows 7 drivers normally have a touchscreen, but XP does not work. If you want to use it as a tablet, not only use regular XP
